New Challenges

Today has been a difficult day for Carson. He started preschool two weeks ago and on the weekends he just doesnt understand why he isnt going to school. Getting out of a routine is extremley difficult for him. He is facing a whole new set of challenges now that he is in school but he is doing really well and loving it!!! Yesterday morning (saturday) he handed me his backpack, grabbed my hand and brought me to the front door lol he really loves his school and they are wonderful with him! Over the weekend he had 4 homework assignments to complete and he did very well. He has several goals to reach and the one he is working on now is comprehending what is said to him. His assignments this weekend were to draw on a piece of paper when prompted, look at a book when prompted, follow NVI (non verbal imitation) put a block in a bucket and touching a toy dinosaur when prompted. Tomorrow is Monday and I know he will be so happy when we pull into the school parking lot!
