New Year

It's a new year and maybe I can make it a resolution to update regularly again. Things have been going well. Carson is doing good and making so many new sounds. We are remaining hopeful that he will one day become verbal. He is now in Speech Therapy again and on the waiting list for OT. Right now he is on Christmas break from school and he has had a very difficult time with change of routine. He has had several meltdowns and they are lasting longer and longer. Nothing calms him down or makes him happy. We can't take him anywhere because when we do he had awful fits. This is all new to us because in the past he has always been great in public places. We just wish we could get inside his head and know what's upsetting him so much. He goes back to school in 4 days and hopefully then things will get better. Until then we have to find ways to survive and get through each day as peacefully as possible.
