Big Changes!

Well, tonight is Carson's first night in his new bed! He transitioned from a toddler bed to a twin bed! I cant believe how big my little boy is getting! I worked all day on his room and redecorated it in dinosaurs. He was so happy and excited when he saw it at bedtime. I went to check on him a little while ago and he looks so big asleep in his twin bed. I am so proud of him. He didn't have any issues with this change. He is really growing up and has overcomed so much in his short 3 years. I am so proud and love him more each day!!!

Family Photos

We found a great photographer in the Columbus area that has photographed children with autism and does an excellent job! Carson was a wild man but she still managed to get some great shots :) I was so happy with the way they turned out!

Beep Beep Beep!

Carson said "Beep Beep Beep" yesterday at school during Wheels on the bus!!!! He said it again last night while I was singing the song to him when I said "the horn on the bus goes..." he said Beep Beep Beep! Billy and I both heard it and we were so happy. It was such an awesome moment :) I am so proud of Carson and I am hoping we will be hearing more and more of this!!!!

Progress Meeting

We had Carson's 2nd Quarter progress meeting this morning. I am more amazed at this incredible little boy every single day! He reached 88% of his goals and his goal was to reach 80%!! He has progressed so much since starting Step By Step in August! I couldn't be happier with the progress he's made! The program manager told us that he definitley thinks Carson will be a talker. This was music to my ears! I was so happy to hear this!!! He has started making new sounds and he babbles a lot so we are hoping words will come soon! I am just so thrilled and so happy to hear how well he is doing :)
