Quarterly Progress meeting

We had a meeting this morning to discuss Carson's progress from last quarter. He met 100% of his goals!!! He is doing so great! He is able to independently do a 9 piece puzzle, request items in his pecs book and his iPad, wash and dry his hands independently, greet peers with a wave, follow 3 step directions! The list goes on and on :) So proud of him!!!

Carson said a WORD!!! Tuesday at school he requested his animal toys on the iPad and said "anmuls"!!! This is so so so EXCITING!!!!!

Baby Carson

I miss these days! Some people believe children that are diagnosed with autism were born with autism. These picturse prove to me that's not true. Carson had great eye contact and tons of smiles when he was a baby!!! He was very social and very happy. I just can't remember when he lost eye contact. I didn't notice it for some reason. I just really don't believe he was born with autism. This little boy in this picture was very happy and meeting every milestone on time. I love Carson for who he is but sometimes looking back at photos I really miss this little boy!

Carson loves his iPad! He is really good on it and he is already learning so much after just a week of having it :)

Everyday is more amazing...

Carson is making incredible progress! Today at school he independently requested 3 items on his ipad :) All of the professionals tell us they believe he will talk. I am so hopeful he will. He is reaching new goals everyday and just doing so well. I am so proud of him and so very happy with the progress he has made!
